ITEM is an abbreviation of Engineers Technology and Society (Ingenieurs Techniek en Maatschappij), referring to the alumni of the programme as it was called at the time the association was founded.
ITEM is the alumni association of the TU/e (Eindhoven University of Technology) study programmes:
- Psychology & Technology (P&T),
- Human Technology Interaction (HTI),
- Sustainable Innovation (SI),
- Innovation Sciences (IS).
